zinc and manganese. The most popular among collectors and the public are

Copper is being added to add durability and strength. The ASW or Actual
Silver Weight is .7736 troy ounces. The last circulating silver dollar
coins minted during the year 1970 only contained about 40% silver to 60%
nickel.

some of these locations are still continuing to mint silver coins. Some of
these include:

Knowing Silver Dollar Coins Values
The values of silver dollar coins vary, depending on its year of mintage and
the condition. Conditions can be described by words such as worn, moderate
wear, or nearly-new, or other synonyms like brilliant. It could also
include their circulating condition. Also, rarity has to be
considered. Morgan dollar coins are priced anywhere from just a few
dollars up to several thousands with accordance to its condition and
rarity. Usually, the rarer the coin is, the less important the
condition. However, the less rare it is, then the more important the
condition. So, if you find a rare silver Morgan dollar that is in
brilliant and uncirculated condition and plan to sell, then consider yourself
lucky, as this is very pricey.
Another type of coin that is rare is peace dollars. A complete set
containing different mints from years 1921-1935 will sell for about $1100 to
$2300, again depending on its
condition.
So in buying or selling silver coins, make sure you exercise diligence and
extra caution in finding out the value of these coins. If you really want
to get what your coins are worth, or if you want to get what your money is
worth, buyer or seller, you have to pay attention to the values any silver
dollar coin.
